I always missed the idea of actually being a team. These days, and my knowledge is limited on this, I will admit, it seems to be more solo oriented, or if you are in a team, it's a type of shadow clan. I remember when I first joined there were a lot of clans, and it was possible to kill other clans, but warring was usually a last resort. Perhaps I am lame and old-fashioned, or I just don't understand the game anymore, but I miss the unspoken code of honor we seemed to once have.
Granted, I was never too good at making my empire larger and stronger, but it was still fun being a part of team, striving together to reach a goal. Back then, finishing in the top ten was good and all, but we had more fun just playing.
These days, and again, my knowledge is limited, it seems that everything has been nerfed or changed, taking away the game we all originally started playing.
Just my thoughts. _________________

I agree, I am a clan player for sure and have no interest in playing solo on a land pass game to see who can gain the most mana. I also think that killing on classic is so easy that it ruins clan play and on Strat is so hard it discourages players from even trying. Also on strat the pillage is sooo brutal its not worth trying to run a netting clan.
If pillage was removed and land grabs somewhere between Classic and current strat then it can become a viable server for team play. A good start anyway.
Chad doesn't have a point at all, the code on QMT is far far different than Val and enjoys a lower player base as a result. I really like the QMT code but for me its a different game, harder and more care is required. It is not an alternative prom site for most that play here but an different game altogether.
My 2 cents |

You know whats funny Maw your right I mean I've noticed years ago this was dieing. I remember all the Warwickians had the whole school playing this game at one point. This was a good get together kinda back in the day it really is funny how interests went elsewhere. Even me this is the first post I've posted in 2 years but getting people back thats the tough part....think about what was out then....nothing xbox live was just starting not everyone had it. I was in lik 7th or 8th grade i mean guys that was a different time. yes there is a lot of online gamers but probably 80%of them are on some kind of gaming system. I would love to see this site take off again but that time unfortunatly and dont hate me for saying this but it has past. But what we have here is memories. I remember spending hours waiting for turns to build up i would get in trouble at school and fight my brother for tips cause all the warwickians were beast at this game. Many good days on this site and the 1st site. I forget the name now but anyways see you all later. _________________
